Evan Montpellier is a musician and artist based in Montréal, Québec. Working mainly with selfbuilt software and electronic instruments, Evan creates live video and sound performances, recorded music and interactive artworks. His projects have been presented across Eastern Canada and the United States. He holds a BA in Religious Studies from McGill University and a BFA in Intermedia from Concordia University. Evan is an associate researcher at the Topological Media Lab (Concordia University), where he develops real-time media performance software and collaborates on producing responsive environments.
