An art-historical perspective on interactive media art that provides theoretical and methodological tools for understanding and analyzing digital art.
Claudia González Godoy is an independent media artist and manager of educational projects in art and technology. Since 2006, she has developed a proposal around the notion of materiality in analogue and digital technological supports, with procedures for sound installation, electronics and engraving. Claudia addresses the behavior of materials in time and their manifestation in the dimension of sound. Her work, both as an artist and professor, reflects on the idea of technology – be old or contemporary technological supports – where the approach to the materialities suggests problems associated with technological development and the effects on our natural and artificial environment.
